My go-to dish to take to a friend~
Those days or weeks that you have a friend who just brought home a newborn, or recently lost a loved one, or having a hard time and you want to bless them with a home cooked warm meal; but you have no idea what to take or your time is extremely limited. Well, you're in luck...I have the perfect meal for you. It's super easy and fast to make and it is delicious! Plus it freezes well!
Million Dollar Spaghetti!
It makes a TON so it's perfect for larger families, or if you are feeding a smaller family split it in half and make 2. One for your friend and one for you and your family!
Ingredients1lb Ground beef.
1 24 ounce jars Marinara pasta sauce ( I prefer Ragu Meat Sauce)
16 oz Spaghetti noodles
Dash of Salt and pepper
3 tbsp Butter
1 cup Cottage cheese
8 oz Cream cheese
2 cups Mozzarella cheese
2/3 cup Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup Sour cream
Dash of Italian Seasoning
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Brown ground beef and drain grease, add marinara sauce and let simmer.
Boil Spaghetti Noodles just until "al dente" drain, set aside
Place half of the cooked noodles in a 9x13 greased pan.
Add 3-4 pads of butter on top of noodles
Combine cream cheese, sour cream and cottage cheese in a bowl and mix well. Smooth over noodles in the pan.
Top with remaining noodles. Add a few more pads of butter and then add your meat mixture on top and smooth into an even layer. Top with mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly.
If cheese begins to brown cover with tinfoil and continue to cook.
Let sit for 10 minutes and Enjoy!
